Noted director Marta Meszaros finishes up her acclaimed semi-autobiographical "diary" series which started with her 1982 Diary for My Children. After her idealist father gets swept away with Soviet propaganda about a socialist Eden, young Vilma (Lili Monori) gets packed off to Kirgizstan along with her family. Instead of finding paradise, however, they discover only totalitarian oppression and political murder. One by one, her family is killed for trumped-up charges as a part of Stalin's purges. Later, Vilma is taken to a Young Soviet school, given the more revolutionary name Nina Alexeyevna, and eventually allowed to return to her native Hungary.

"Knee Dancing" director, producer and star Doreen Ross plays Laura Zuckerman, a young housewife tortured by experiences of childhood sexual abuse. This is a poignant display of the human mind desperately grasping for normalcy while having been "trained" otherwise at an early age. While Laura's mother is in the hospital for a long stay, her father terrorizes Laura. Sex then is the next step and before Laura's mother comes home her father makes her promise not to tell her mother what she has been doing to her. Laura's reality is now well tainted as she oscillates repeatedly between what is real versus what she thinks is real in the actions of both men and women towards her. This is an autobiography.

DE. Kinderspiele ist ein Fernsehfilm des Regisseurs Wolfgang Becker. Er wurde fürs ZDF produziert und auf dem Filmfest München 1992 uraufgeführt.
Das Drama spielt in einer deutschen Arbeitersiedlung der 1960er Jahre. Es ist ein heißer Sommer und die Ferien stehen vor der Tür. Die Hauptfigur Micha besucht die vierte Klasse und wird aufgrund seines guten Zeugnisses aufs Gymnasium wechseln. Von seinem jähzornigen Vater regelmäßig geschlagen und von seiner Mutter vernachlässigt, verbringt Micha seine Zeit mit Kalli, einem Klassenkameraden, der weniger durch schulische Leistungen als vielmehr durch schlechte Manieren und Herumtreiben glänzt. Eines Tages verlässt die Mutter mit Peter (dem jüngeren Bruder Michas) die Familie. Schließlich kommt es zu einem tragischen Ende zwischen Micha und seinem Vater.

 Šestidílný seriál Když se slunci nedaří se odehrává převážně v nemocnici, jejímiž pacienty jsou děti nejrůznějšího stáří. Autoři seriálu, Eva a Ivo Pelantovi, se záměrně vyhnuli těžkým a beznadějným případům a jejich nemocnici většinou opouštějí uzdravené děti. Přesto se diváci seriálu i v jejich pohodové nemocnici setkají s onemocněními vážnými, v současné dětské populaci relativně častými, jejichž léčení klade na pacienty, ale také na jejich rodiče nemalé nároky. V každém případě je seriálová nemocnice místem důvěry v uzdravení, zejména díky vedoucí lékařce dětského oddělení, doktorce Šnajberkové. Představuje typ lékaře, s nímž bychom se v době onemocnění rádi potkali.

 JP. 緒方は女衒だった。妻はそんな緒方を支えながら二人の男の子を育てていた。そこに緒方が街で拾ってきた女の子（後の石原）を拾ってくる。その日から、石原は十朱の娘になる。緒方は裏の貧乏な家の娘（後の名取）を売り、その家に米を運ぶことになる十朱。そこで、赤痢で死ぬ母親に驚愕する。そして10年、石原は立派な娘になり十朱を支えていた。名取は高知一の芸者になっていた。緒方は、興業の仕事にのりだし義太夫の女（真行寺君枝）とできてしまう。長男（井上純一）は病弱で、石原が好きだった。次男（田中隆三）は放蕩を重ねる。緒方と真行寺の間に子が出来、十朱は実家に帰っていた。大貞楼の女将（草笛光子）のはからいで帰る事になり、真行寺が産んだ娘（後の高橋）をひきとることとなる。初めは乳母にまかせ無視していた十朱だったが、母性愛からか、溺愛するようになる。そんな中、田中の放蕩をやめさえようとした井上が殴られ帰らぬ姿になってしまう。田中は刑務所に入る。そして、また10年、高橋はすこやかに育ち、十朱を母と疑わなかった。緒方はまたも女（白都真理）をかこっていた。十朱は病に倒れるが、なんとか持ち直す。だが、緒方とはあわず、帰ってきた田中も緒方の跡をつぐことになり、高橋と実家の世話で貧乏暮らしを始める。緒方は高橋を返せといい。なくなく高橋を渡す事にする。途中の橋で車を降り、高橋の後ろ姿を見つめ、向き直る十朱だった。
